Truth is, if you believe in something, you always find facts to point to it. Taking into account the variety of beliefs in the world one would think either that they are all the same in their essence, or that all facts point in different directions, if we assume that one fact points in one direction only. Which, fortunately, is not the case. Facts do not point in a single direction.
Facts are just there and, contrary to all reasoning, don't feel any urge to point at anything.
So what is easier to catch and hold? Water or yourself? I've never heard of a person who managed to grab themselves in their hands and carry themselves alone like this. Never been that flexible myself. You need to be rigid in this life. And water can't be held just like that. So you change the method. Either decide to carry yourself on your legs, which is not all that unconventional, or you get a container for your water. But containers are not always big enough and they leak. Better to run with light steps across a creaking floor. Never light enough not to make any noise but still effective. And what doesn't come with practice leads to fixing your floor. Which is all good.
I would love to fix my floor if they would just let me. Or lend a hand.
